About Libby

Libby’s approach is warm, collaborative and strengths based. Libby aims to empower clients by providing a safe space where clients can be curious about their experiences, understand their impact on the present moment, and develop skills to improve wellbeing.

Libby’s therapeutic style is responsive to the specific needs of each client and is strongly influenced by attachment theory and interpersonal neurobiology. Libby draws on a range of evidence-based therapies including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, EMDR, and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.

Expertise

Libby has worked with clients across the lifespan in private practice, not for profit and hospital settings. Libby has a special interest in supporting adult and adolescent clients experiencing difficulties associated with:

  • Complex trauma, PTSD

  • Perinatal mental health

  • Anxiety and depression

  • Autism spectrum disorders

  • Relationship and family issues
